Tier 3 Franchisee

Options of adding additional franchisee territories:

Tier 3 franchisees are not eligible to add additional market locations. Franchisee must be a Tier 1 or Tier 2 franchisee to add market territories. 

Design consultant requirements:

Franchisee must perform as or have a design consultant, painter and installer who must be trained and in place in a market within 90 days of signing the franchise document disclosure agreement.

Tier advancement:

Tier 3 franchisees can advance to Tier 2 or Tier 1 at any time with an additional franchisee fee investment calculated at whatever that next Tier's initial investment is minus what their actual Tier 3 initial franchise investment was (ex. $16,000 - $6,000 to advance to Tier 2).

Tier 2 Franchisee

Franchisees in this tier can add additional franchisee locations, but they must be added as a Tier 1 or 2 franchise. They must also demonstrate they are successfully operating and proficiently following the Kitchen Refresh systems in their existing territory, and have a well organized plan to serve the territory they are wanting to add.

Design consultant requirements:

Franchisee must perform as or have a design consultant, painter and installer who must be trained and in place in a market within 90 days of signing the franchise document disclosure agreement.

Tier advancement:

Tier 2 franchisees can advance to Tier 1 at any time with an additional franchisee fee investment calculated at whatever that next Tier's initial investment is minus what their actual Tier 2 initial franchise investment was (ex. $28,500 - $16,000 to advance to Tier 1).

(1) The $2,500, $12,500 and $25,000 initial franchise fees for a Tier 3, 2 and 1 franchise, respectively, are based on an initial franchise fee payment of $6,000 for a Tier 3, $16,000 for a Tier 2 or $28,500 for a Tier 1, and franchisee receiving a $1,000 refund or credit for remitting payment (if applicable) and returning a signed FDD within 30 days of the Discovery Day event they attend, an additional $1,000 refund or credit for completing the required startup items such as training, point-of-sale and other software setups within 60 days of signing the FDD, and an additional $1,500 refund for completing their design studio requirements within 90 days of signing the FDD.
